A few weeks back I went to PAX 2009 in Seattle, WA – along with about 80,000 other geeks, nerds, cosplayers; I call them gamers. This is a little con put on by the amazing team at Penny Arcade where gamers can get hands on with lots & lots of games. Everything from games coming out next week to games not yet in closed alpha; from board games and CCG’s to games controlled by keyboard and glove…yea, picture Nintendo’s Power Glove on crack.

I’ve already got “The Imperial March” in my head!  I’m all set for Star Wars: In Concert, coming this fall.  A tour of musicians performing music from the Star Wars saga will begin in Western and Southern cities.  Further US dates will be added soon, and plans to take the tour worldwide are in the making.

As I write this, its around 10 pm on Saturday, mear hours from Fathers Day.  Tomorrow, I’ll wake up, go out with the family for breakfast, then I’ll possibly see my own father and maybe do something for a bit.

Sounds kind of dysfunctional?  Not really.  That’s just how my dad is.  He’s a good guy, and we’ve spent a lot of time together, but well, he’s kinda lazy.
But then again, so am I… Apple don’t fall far from the tree.
