Reynolds retains creative input on DEADPOOL

It seems Deadpool fan Ryan Reynolds has pulled a Nick Cage, and weaseled his way into more than just a starring role in the upcoming project.  He will have full creative imput, which includes acting as “authentication police”, as the studio aims for an adaptation loyal to the source material.

“I love it, because I get to be involved,” Reynolds gushed to MTV’s Splash Page recently. “And I’m such a huge fan of the character.”

Now let’s just hope it’s not another Ghost Rider.

If youhaven’t watched Wolverine and the X-Men, then you have no soul!  Its easily one of the best things on TV right now.  Combining the storytelling of the OG Fox series, and the animation of Evolution.  The last shot of the season final was probably the most awesome thing ever done in a Marvel cartoon.

Now word has come down from Nick Toons that the show is getting 26 more episodes! Its the highest rated show the network has ever had!

I for one am happy that we’ll get more of this fantastic show, hut I have a feeling of Termites gnawing away at my innards that Nick will cancel this in the same fashion that they canned Invader Zim and Avatar while they were at their peaks..

DEADPOOL REACTS TO HIS CHANGES IN ORIGINS

Yeah, I will pretty much be posting these regularly because the writing is superb, the animation is cheesy, and that makes them overall hilarious. Enjoy.

By Xenu’s great fist: Scott Adkins NINJA Trailer is unleashed upon an unsuspecting population!

ninja-poster1Ok.  I know what you’re asking: WHO THE FUCK IS SCOTT ADKINS, AND WHY SHOULD I CARE?  I would then say, YOU”RE A GODDAMN WHORE! NOW EAT YOUR FLAN AND GET READY FOR THE ASS KICKING OF A LIFE TIME YOU SWINE!

But, to be far more civilized about it.  If you saw Wolverine this weekend, you might of noticed that Weapon XI wasn’t Ryan Reynolds.  It was stunt man and ass kicker extraordinaire, Scott Adkins.  The man has been in a plethora of films, usually beating someone into a rape filled coma.  He’s fought Jet Li in UNLEASHED (a movie that is a work of ART!). Taken on Jason Bourn in the Bourn Ultimatum, and now, he’s getting roles front and center.

Sure, they’re nothing great at the moment, Undisputed 2,  Undisputed 3, Stag Night. All scream Jean Claud Van Damm in quality.  WELL GUESS AGAIN YOU BASTARDS!  The trailer for his newest film, NINJA, oozes the pure greatness of the 80’s like a fat kid sweats grease in the summer!  Ninja’s with body amour, doing insane stunts, and killer sword fights. A basic direct to video premise with Hong Kong/Thailand quality fights.  This is one of those little gems just waiting to be discovered.  If we never get a NINJA GAIDEN film, I think I could settle for this.
Peep it out here and be prepared to have your socks rocked so hard that they commit harikari. For the socks cannot comprehend this level of awesome!

DEADPOOL MOVIE OFFICIALLY A GO!

It wasn’t too long ago that we posted the story of Reynolds talking about doing a Deadpool movie should the studio decide to move ahead with that idea. Since then another site (that I’m sorry I can’t mention because it’s run by a complete douche bag) reported that in an interview with Lauren Shuler Donner that she was going to pursue making Deadpool & Gambit movies. Well now the Hollywood Reporter is well… reporting that the Deadpool movie is officially a go. Ryan Reynolds is attached to reprise his role as the merc with a mouth. Lauren Donner & Marvel will act as producers on the movie. It is unknown at this time if it will be directly connected to the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie or if the movie will stand on it’s on story. Needless to say if it is connected there is a lot of “fixing” that needs to be done. The project is currently out to writers.
